Addison Hicks
Head of the Business Litigation Division, attorney
Addison B. Hicks is the Department Head of the Business Litigation Division at Pino Law Firm, representing businesses, property owners and tenants, fiduciaries, contractors, and individuals in complex, high-stakes litigation in state and federal court. His practice covers business litigation, real estate litigation, probate and trust litigation, construction defect litigation, and complex civil litigation.
Known for a strategic, results-driven approach, Addison guides clients through every stage, from pre-suit negotiation and emergency injunctions to trial, arbitration, and appeal. He handles breach of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, fiduciary duty claims, commercial and residential lease disputes, trust contests, construction claims, and multi-party litigation.
As Department Head, he oversees the firm's litigation operations, sets strategy on complex matters, and mentors the attorneys in his division. Before joining the firm, he practiced at a boutique litigation firm in Winter Park, where he obtained multi-million dollar verdicts.
Addison earned his Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law, where he served as Vice President of the Trial Team and won a state championship, defeating teams from the University of Florida and Stetson.

Outside the office
Volunteers with the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida. Outside the office he enjoys time with his wife and son, exercise, home improvement, hiking Florida's nature trails, and boating.
